Overview

We are looking for someone who can run a kitchen, we have a limited menu and are open 3 days a week

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support meal production.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including proper cleaning of utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
• Support meal assembly and presentation for dine-in or catering services while adhering to recipe specifications.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep and ensure timely service delivery.
• Follow all safety standards in production and food handling to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Strong knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like ovens, stoves, mixers, and food processors.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
