Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
• Handle food ingredients safely, including proper storage and handling procedures
• Support kitchen operations during busy service periods, ensuring timely meal delivery
• Collaborate with team members to execute menu planning and special catering events
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred, especially in a culinary or kitchen role
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
• Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation are highly valued
• Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and serve guests effectively
