Line Cook

Tall Trellis is looking for a dependable, hardworking Cook to join our team!

Our kitchen has continued to grow and evolve over the 4.5 years we’ve been open, and we’re looking for someone who can grow with us. The right person is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in getting orders out accurately and on time, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Tall Trellis recipes and standards
• Complete customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Stay organized and efficient during busy service periods
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen and work area
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures
• Prep ingredients and restock items as needed
• Help receive and properly store deliveries
• Assist with inventory, including counting products and recording items on hand
• Communicate with bartenders and other team members to keep service running smoothly
• Learn new menu items and procedures as our kitchen continues to evolve
• Help identify when products, supplies or ingredients are running low
• Pitch in with other kitchen responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, efficient and willing to work as part of a team. You should be able to stay focused when several orders come in at once, manage your time well and care about the quality of the food leaving the kitchen.

Because Tall Trellis is always evolving, we also need someone who is comfortable with change. Our menu today looks very different than it did when we opened 4.5 years ago, and we expect it to continue growing and changing.

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important.
