Line cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at our casual dining restaurant. As a Ramen Cook/Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality, authentic ramen dishes and other menu items in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared to the highest standards and served promptly to guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Assist in the opening and closing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and workstations.
• Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Utilize proper knife skills for efficient food preparation.
• Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when necessary.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting, preferably in ramen or Japanese cuisine.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient knife skills for effective meal preparation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Must be able to speak English
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay will be discussed based on experience. $18/hour + Tip (Not included)**
