Line Cook

We’re hiring for multiple kitchen positions and shifts, including:

• Line cooks
• Experienced cooks
• Full-time and part-time positions
• Day, evening, and late-night shifts

NO FORMAL CULINARY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY-LEVEL POSITIONS.

What matters most is that you show up, work hard, take pride in what you do, and work well with others.

What You’ll Do & Learn

At Disco Chicken, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in:

• High-volume, fast-paced kitchen operations
• Food preparation and cooking techniques
• Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
• Kitchen organization and efficiency
• Proper food handling and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team during busy services
• Managing multiple orders while maintaining ticket times
• Catering and special events

For experienced cooks, we’re looking for people who can confidently run a station, maintain quality during high-volume service, and take on additional responsibilities.

For those with less experience, we’re willing to teach you.

Disco Chicken isn’t your typical chicken restaurant.

We’re a locally owned, independent restaurant in downtown Rockford serving creative chicken sandwiches, tenders, loaded tots, and more.

With a high-energy atmosphere, late-night hours, live DJs, and a kitchen that stays busy, no two shifts are quite the same.
