JOB DESCRIPTION
The back-of-house team is responsible for preparing meals for guests while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. PhxBeer cooks must work at a quick pace while working together as a team to take care of all our guests. Being friendly, hard-working, and having a love of serving others while having FUN at work is a MUST for our employees!

Key duties and responsibilities shall include:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and salads
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
• Other duties as needed to ensure efficient delivery of service to customers in a consistent manner
• Move with speed through your prep list, line setup, and preparing food.
• High communication to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our guests and our team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
• Positive outlook and able to maintain composure under pressure
• Previous kitchen cooking experience preferred (1-2 Years, however, will consider education as equivalent to experience.)
• Ability to follow directions, and meet standards

Requirements
Food Handler's Card
2 years recent back of house experience
High volume experience preferred
Must have a great attitude and strong TEAMWORK!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
