Line Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our back of house team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We are currently looking for a part-time position (15-30hrs) with WEEKEND availability.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Execute precise knife skills for chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients efficiently
• Maintain organized workstations, manage inventory levels, and restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for a fun dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience kitchen environment, preferably within high-volumes restaurants
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Skilled in food preparation techniques including cooking methods, meal assembly, and plating presentation
• Ability to plan menus or contribute ideas for menu development that align with guest preferences and dietary needs
• Previous restaurant experience demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and a passion for culinary arts
• Familiarity with catering operations and serving in high-volume settings is advantageous
• Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality, safety, and customer service
