Line Cook

Job Summary
Must be available to work Saturday and Sundays*. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in meal preparation and food preparation for various dining services, including fine dining and dietary department needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to maintain high standards.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food handling and food service within the culinary field.
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food preparation processes.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
