Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restaurant or food industry and possess a strong understanding of food preparation and safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
