Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! . In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every meal meets our established standards for taste, presentation, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
• Reliable, honest and responsible
• Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
• Support in cleaning duties such as dishwashing, surface sanitation, and equipment maintenance to uphold hygiene standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety management and adherence to safety standards in production environments
• Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient portioning
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in meal quality
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and team members
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
• Attention to detail in food handling, cleaning routines, and maintaining a hygienic workspace

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
