Line Cook

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitation of work surfaces and equipment
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of kitchen tools and equipment

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchen environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in fast-paced settings with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Previous roles involving serving or direct customer interaction are a plus but not required
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
