Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in meal preparation for daily service and catering events, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow
• Follow safety standards in food handling, storage, and production processes to prevent contamination
• Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and team members
• Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus
