Line Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and standards. Your expertise in food handling, meal preparation, and food safety will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
• Monitor food stock levels and notify the supervisor of any shortages
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
• Proficient in using knives and other kitchen equipment
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
