Line Cook

Job Overview

Bring energy and care to every service as a Line Cook. You’ll prepare meals, follow recipes and menu plans, and keep your station clean, organized, and ready for the kitchen team. This role suits candidates with food preparation or cooking experience, including experience in restaurants, catering, dietary departments, or other food service settings.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion guidance, and service needs.
• Use knives and kitchen equipment safely to slice ingredients and complete meal preparation.
• Follow food handling procedures, food safety requirements, and production safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to keep orders moving and communicate needs clearly.
• Clean and maintain your station and equipment throughout the shift.

Skills

• Essential: Food preparation, cooking, cleaning, food handling, recipe adherence, and communication with kitchen staff.
• Essential: Knife skills, including safe slicing technique, and the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Preferred: Kitchen, restaurant, food service, food industry, culinary, or catering experience.
• Preferred: Dietary department or dietary aide experience, menu planning, and familiarity with food safety management.
• A dependable, team-focused approach and readiness to follow established safety standards.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
