Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish presentation and ingredient selection
• Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to maintain safety and freshness
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
• Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Familiarity with catering and banquet service
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving customers and supporting colleagues
