Line Cook

Job Overview

As a Line Cook, you’ll prepare and cook meals that meet established recipes, quality expectations, and food safety standards. You’ll keep your station organized, coordinate with kitchen staff, and help service run smoothly during busy periods.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and meals using sound knife skills, including safe slicing techniques.
• Cook menu items according to recipes, portion guidance, and service timing.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food handling and production safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment throughout each shift.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, maintain workflow, and support menu planning or meal preparation as needed.

Qualifications

• Food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and kitchen experience are important for success in this role.
• Food service, restaurant, or culinary experience required.
• Demonstrate careful food handling, food safety practices, and adherence to recipes and food safety management procedures.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and use kitchen equipment responsibly.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
