Line Cook

Job Summary

Pelican Sound Golf & River Club is looking for a Line Cook to deliver high quality culinary food and service for our members. This role requires impeccable technical skill, strict adherence to sanitation, and the ability to maintain flawless presentation under intense, high-volume pressure.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in full-service upscale kitchens.
• Education: Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, though equivalent professional kitchen experience is often accepted.

DUTIES

• Station Preparation (Mise en Place): Set up and stock assigned culinary stations (sauté, grill, garde manger, or roast) with precision. Chop, measure, and prep ingredients according to luxury hotel recipes.
• Service Execution: Cook and plate high-volume, a la carte, or multi-course banquet dishes with consistent flavor, visual presentation, and strict temperature control.
• Quality & Taste Control: Taste and inspect all prepared components prior to service to guarantee seasoning, freshness, and alignment with executive chef specifications.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and local health department guidelines, keeping workstations sanitized and coolers organized.
• Inventory & Requisition: Monitor station stock levels, rotate stock properly, and report waste or low inventory to the sous chef.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
