Line Cook - Hotel

Join Our Culinary Team!

We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and team-oriented Line Cook to join the culinary team at our busy 302-room full-service hotel.

Our in-house restaurant serves hotel guests, local customers, and groups throughout the year. The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in preparing quality food, and understand the importance of consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Work multiple stations as needed, including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, or prep.
• Prepare food for restaurant service, banquets, and special events as needed.
• Set up and stock assigned stations before service.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Monitor food quality and communicate any concerns to the Chef.
• Complete prep work accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout the shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Properly store, label, date, and rotate food products.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory as needed.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Follow proper procedures for equipment use and kitchen safety.
• Work cooperatively with other kitchen and restaurant team members.
• Assist with banquet and high-volume food production when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, banquet, or high-volume food service environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry kitchen supplies as required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
