Line Cook / Prep

Job Overview

You will be working in a solo kitchen 3 days a week and working with the other cook 1 day a week. You must be abile to work independently is a must! 9 hour shifts. Extra time and days may be required for events. Over time after 40 hours a week. Sat - Tue 12:00pm - 9:00pm is the standard shift and these times are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble ingredients following standardized recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations is a MUST!
• Preparation for service, including portioning, slicing, and making sauces
• Communicate effectively with bar and wait staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth workflow
• Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisor of stock needs

Requirements

• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is a MUST!
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 45.0 per week
