Line Cook/Prep

Duties

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is stored properly and meets safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
• Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry as a cook or prep cook is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
