Line cook/Prep cook

Line Cook / Kitchen Staff - Full time and Part time

Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook made-to-order seafood and other menu items according to our recipes and quality standards.

* Wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

* Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion sizes.

* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.

* Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.

* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed to maintain a clean work environment.

* Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

* Work closely with the kitchen team to prepare orders accurately and efficiently during busy service periods.

* Help with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and restocking.

Qualifications

* Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen staff in a restaurant is preferred.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

* Basic knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.

* Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

* Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented environment.

* Seafood preparation experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
