Line Cook/Prep Cook

Souq Lebanese Grill is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our team on Howard Avenue.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to restaurant recipes and standards.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are prepared and sent out on time during busy periods.
• Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure orders are completed properly.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, countertops, cooking equipment, and other kitchen areas.
• Keep floors and other kitchen areas clean and free of debris.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties as needed.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Assist with other restaurant duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $17.60-$23.00 per hour
