Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
• Assist with food preparation such as cutting meat, fish, and vegetables
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Ensure all food meets quality standards and is ready to be served
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
• Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively
