Line Cook/Prep Cook

Sofiya is looking for a reliable and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team in San Francisco.

We serve authentic Central Asian cuisine and are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and can become a dependable member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Complete daily food prep and station setup
• Work efficiently during busy service
• Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients
• Communicate and work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff
• Assist with prep and other kitchen duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous professional kitchen or line cook experience preferred
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
• Willing to learn and follow recipes and kitchen procedures
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Weekend availability required

Experience with Uzbek, Central Asian, Russian, Eastern European, or similar cuisines is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with strong kitchen fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

Pay: Starting at $21+ per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time position with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts depending on the weekly schedule.
