Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to food safety regulations
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
• Support menu planning efforts by assisting with ingredient sourcing and portion control
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally during busy service hours

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
• Experience in meal preparation, food industry settings, or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as required
