Line Cook / Prep Cook (Part-Time)

Carv is a new fast-casual restaurant in Marlboro, NJ focused on high-quality food, efficient service, and a clean, organized kitchen.

We are looking for a reliable, experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, stay organized during busy periods, and maintain consistent food quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to order
• Perform prep work including slicing, portioning, and ingredient preparation
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Assist with opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties

Requirements

• Prior line cook, prep cook, deli, sandwich shop, or fast-casual kitchen experience strongly preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compact kitchen environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay
Starting at $20 per hour based on experience
