Line Cook/Prep Cook

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing Korean cuisine and possess a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Korean is a plus and will be considered an advantage. Duties

• Prepare and cook Korean dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with food prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and meet quality standards before serving
• Support the kitchen team during busy hours, collaborating effectively to ensure smooth operations
• Follow food safety procedures and proper storage techniques for ingredients
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed

Experience

• Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook, preferably with a focus on Korean cuisine
• Knowledge of traditional Korean cooking techniques and ingredients is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to communicate effectively; speaking Korean is considered a good plus but not required
