Line Cook/Prep Cook

oin our team at Neko Bento! We are looking for a motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook who is passionate about Japanese cuisine. You will help us prepare high-quality bento boxes, ramen, and other Japanese specialties in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for Japanese dishes, including vegetable cutting and sauce preparation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (fryers, rice cookers, and grills).
• Follow Neko Bento’s recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation according to food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team during busy lunch and dinner shifts.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant or professional kitchen is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Japanese food prep (sushi rice, tempura, etc.) preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in Cypress, TX.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
