Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors
• Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area
• Assist with meal preparation for service, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes
• Support the kitchen team with food handling, portioning, and plating to ensure consistency
• Maintain proper storage of ingredients and monitor inventory levels for freshness and safety
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and uphold smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred
• Strong knife skills and slicing techniques with a focus on safety and precision
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation
• Experience with menu planning, catering, or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
