Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning. A background in fine dining or catering is preferred.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to execute catering events and special functions.
• Utilize knife skills for efficient meal preparation.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide support during service by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to guests.

Experience

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary settings.
• Familiarity with fine dining practices and standards is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
• Strong knife skills and ability to work with various kitchen equipment.
