Legacy’s Sports Bar — Portage, WI

Legacy’s Sports Bar is looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen help to join our team! This part-time position is a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in serving good food.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble menu items.
• Follow recipes and kitchen instructions.
• Keep workstations, dishes, and equipment clean.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help with kitchen prep, restocking, and closing duties.
• Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications
• Cook a variety of dishes with precision, adhering to established safety and food handling standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, and food processors safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure a hygienic environment
• Follow recipe instructions meticulously to ensure consistent quality and presentation
• Assist in meal preparation for service periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and meet service times

Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay organized during busy shifts.
• Willingness to work as a team and take direction.
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus.
