Job Overview

Join the kitchen as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, preparing menu items and keeping service running smoothly. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on food preparation and working closely with kitchen staff.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Use knives and kitchen equipment for tasks such as slicing, portioning, and meal preparation.
• Follow food-handling and food-safety practices, including safety standards in production.
• Clean and organize work areas and equipment throughout each shift.
• Your impact: Consistent preparation and safe cooking help guests enjoy well-prepared meals and help the kitchen team deliver smooth service.

Skills

• Food preparation, cooking, recipe adherence, knife skills, and safe slicing technique.
• Kitchen, restaurant, food service, food industry, or culinary experience is helpful; dietary department, dietary aide, or catering experience is also welcome.
• Familiarity with food safety management, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment.
• Clear communication with kitchen staff and a collaborative approach to service.
• Menu planning experience is a plus; ability to follow established menus and recipes is important.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
