Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching setups, braising pots, and food production machinery
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep for daily service and special events
• Support high-volume food production while adhering to recipe guidelines and portion control
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
• Experience with food handling, catering, or high-volume production environments preferred
• Knowledge of dietary department procedures and menu planning is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
