Double Play Cafe is a busy sports bar that sells great food. We pride ourselves on consistant, delicious food from recipes created in house.

The line cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and sides, while ensuring that they are prepared to the restaurant's high standards for taste, appearance, and food safety. They must be familiar with the menu and able to work quickly to produce dishes in a timely manner, coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction.

In addition to cooking, the line cook may also be responsible for performing other duties, such as prepping ingredients, stocking supplies, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and ensuring that the kitchen meets health and safety standards. This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and noisy environment.

Overall, a line cook in a busy sports bar must be a skilled and experienced cook who is able to work efficiently and accurately in a high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and a commitment to quality and customer service.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
