What they need
Line Engineer – PET Beverage Bottling Line
Experience: 6 to 10 years | Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) | Location: Kenya | Shifts: Rotational
Role: Hands-on maintenance and reliability role on a high-speed PET beverage line. Keep the line running at rated speed, reduce downtime, and improve OEE.
Must have
- 6 to 10 years in beverage or packaged water PET bottling plants
- PET stretch blow moulder (Sidel, Krones, KHS, SIPA or similar), plus filler, capper and labeller maintenance
- Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, with mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting
- PLC, VFD and HMI working knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi)
- OEE, TPM and RCA/CAPA with measurable results
- Shrink wrapper, conveyors, air compressors, chillers, RO and CIP exposure
- Safety, GMP and 5S compliance, spares management
Good to have: New machine installation and commissioning, SAP PM, vendor and OEM coordination.
