Role & responsibilities
A line leader oversees daily operations, workers, and quality control on a manufacturing or production assembly line
- Team Supervision: Direct, train, and motivate assembly line staff.
- Workflow Management: Assign daily tasks, set production goals, and monitor output.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished goods and enforce strict quality control standards.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the team follows workplace health and safety rules (such as OSHA guidelines).
- Problem Solving: Resolve mechanical or staffing bottlenecks quickly to avoid missed deadlines.
- Record Keeping: Track inventory, material supply, and daily production reports
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: High school diploma
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of manufacturing or production line experience.
- Leadership: Prior supervisory or team-lead experience.
