About Us

We specialise in car park safety solutions across commercial, industrial and construction sites throughout Melbourne, including car park line marking, safety markings, bollards, wheel stops, signage and other car park safety products.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work efficiently on site and is committed to delivering a high-quality finish for our clients.

The Opportunity

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Car park and warehouse line marking
• New layouts and re-marking existing car parks
• Car bays, accessible parking bays, loading zones and pedestrian areas
• Directional arrows, lettering, numbers and symbols
• Safety lines, walkways, exclusion zones and warehouse markings
• Measuring and setting out works from plans and site requirements
• Surface preparation, including cleaning and preparation prior to painting
• Operating line marking machines and associated equipment
• Using stencils, masking and other line marking techniques
• Working with different paints and coatings depending on project requirements
• Maintaining line marking equipment, tools and vehicles
• Completing site paperwork, photos and job records
• Communicating professionally with clients, builders and site supervisors
• Assisting with other CP King installation works when required

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have previous line marking experience, however we are also interested in hearing from candidates with strong construction, civil, painting or trade experience who are willing to learn.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in line marking, painting, civil works or a similar construction role
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing straight, clean and accurate work
• Can confidently measure, mark out and follow plans
• Is comfortable using power tools and machinery
• Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Is reliable, punctual and organised
• Has good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Understands the importance of site safety and following procedures
• Is flexible with working hours when required

ESSENTIALS

• Current Australian Driver Licence – Essential
• White Card – Essential
• Working With Children’s Check- Employee
• Previous line marking experience is highly regarded
• Experience operating airless or line marking machines is highly regarded
• Ability to read plans and complete site set-outs is an advantage
• Construction industry experience is preferred

Some line marking projects may need to be completed outside normal business hours, including evenings, nights or weekends, depending on site access and client requirements. Flexibility is therefore important.
