Line Operative (Evenings) - Chocolate

The Sweet People Ltd is a family-run business in Leighton Buzzard and are currently looking for a line operative to assist within their small chocolate production team making chocolate bars, truffles and hollow figures.

This role is to fill a gap in our evening shift (32 hrs per week).

The current shift runs Monday - Thursday 3pm-11pm

Initial training runs from 8:30am to 5pm for the first 4 weeks.

The Sweet People Ltd is a market leader in the production of branded confectionery for promotional campaigns, events, and product launches.

We design, print & cut, finish, assemble, pack, and distribute everything in-house in Leighton Buzzard. We make multiple different chocolate products, including bars, truffles, and hollow figures. We are a growing business and are looking to recruit the below position

Line Operative
As a key member of The Sweet People, you will be a line operative working as part of a close-knit team at our chocolate factory, creating our very own range of products.
The person we are looking for is someone who likes to get involved and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty!

Duties will include:

• Ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Complete daily start-up checks
• Ensure that the line runs according to the assigned production quantity and speed
• Inspection of products and fault finding
• Check and adjust product weight to meet specifications

Pay: £12.71 per hour
