Line Quality Supervisors

We are looking for Line Quality Supervisors to join our team based in Edgecumbe!

We have one permanent and one temporary fixed term opportunity available (due to a Parental Leave vacancy).

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, these roles are responsible for leading our Quality Team and to implement robust quality systems to ensure we are successfully meeting company and market requirements.  This is pivotal to the success of our busy operation!

You will also play a key part in contributing towards managing our fruit loss risk by maintaining an understanding of fruit packing lines and transferring that knowledge between EastPack employees and growers.

You will need to have:

• Excellent leadership skills and experience in leading teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of product quality compliance (preferably with experience in auditing)
• Effective decision-making skills, including a resilient, methodical approach to solving problems – especially when working under pressure.
• A good understanding of achieving cost and quality targets.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to a diverse seasonal workforce.
• A good level of computer literacy, preferably with experience using Radford’s software and Excel.

During peak production periods, these positions are required to be flexible to work extended hours and weekends as required.  This may include a combination of day and night shift rosters with varying start and finish times to meet the operational needs of the business.
