Line Service Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Service Technician to join our aviation ground operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional ground support services to aircraft and ensuring smooth airport ramp operations. Duties

• Perform aircraft fueling, towing, and parking to ensure timely turnaround times while adhering to safety protocols and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and de-icing vehicles with precision and safety awareness.
• Manage aircraft maintenance tasks including basic inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and coordinating repairs as needed.
• Supervise airport ramp operations by overseeing team members, assigning tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual tasks involving cargo handling, baggage movement, and aircraft servicing using proper techniques.
• Maintain detailed logs of service activities, fuel transactions, and equipment usage for operational transparency.
• Communicate effectively with pilots, management, and team members in multiple languages including English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese to facilitate seamless operations.

Skills

• Proven management and supervising experience in aviation or ground support environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in aircraft maintenance or service technician roles.
• Multilingual capabilities in English plus additional languages such as Korean, Chinese, or Japanese to enhance communication with diverse teams and clients.
• Familiarity with airport ground operations including logistics, aircraft fueling procedures, and airport ramp activities.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing ground handling operations to ensure compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy airport schedules.
• Experience operating company vehicles and ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and fuel calculations; proficiency in manual transmission vehicle operation preferred.
• Leadership qualities capable of guiding team members through complex tasks while fostering a safe work environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
