Line Technician

Line Technician Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Supports engineering activities.

About The Job

• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. (65%)
• Assist engineers with the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components (15%)
• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. (15%)
• Complies with all established procedures to ensure safety, equipment and accuracy of results. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

• Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
• Five to seven years of experience
• Proficient in MS Office
• Analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with CAD
• High attention to detail
