Linehaul Dispatcher

Job Overview

M1 Staffing is an agency operations center, we are seeking a detail-oriented Linehaul Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the movement of freight across regional and national routes for one of our clients in Burlington New Jersey. In this Linehaul Dispatcher Role, you will serve as the communication for drivers, carriers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily truck schedules, departure times and transportations arrangements
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams and other departments to ensure smooth transportation operations
• Monitor truck movements and shipment transfers between warehouse or terminals
• Track shipment status and assist in resolving transportations delays and operational issues
• Coordinate loading , unloading and shipment handover arrangements
• Maintain accurate dispatch needs and transportations updates to relevant teams
• Support daily logistics and warehouse operations as needed.

• Monday - Friday
• 9am-5:30pm
• Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese
• $25.00-$30.00 (DOE)

Experience

• Proven experience in transportation planning or dispatching within a logistics, transportation or warehouse supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, freight management, and fleet management principles.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analysis skills to interpret transportation data and make informed decisions that improve efficiency.
• Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to manage phone calls professionally while providing outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to driver hours of service and safety standards is highly desirable.
