LINEN STAFF

·         Coordinate new linen accounts and maintain existing linen accounts through direct telephone contact and correspondence with customers

·         Retrieve linen orders from fax machine, determine quantities needed for each customer from fax copy and fill the orders accordingly

·         The ability to resupply linen items in the linen closet and stores daily, the ability to deliver and pick-up soiled linen items

·         To spot check linen from the laundry for damage, re-wash

·         Clean the machine filters regularly

·         All the paperwork must be file daily without fail

·         Move linen carts weighing up to 700 pounds

·         Load linen carts using linen inventory system (Linen Helper) and moves to staging area

·         Be required to manually pick up and throw individual soiled linen bags weighing up to 40 pounds

·         Handle uniform & linen and maintain the smooth operation of the department

·         Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
