Linguist with Hebrew

You’ll test software, documentation and hardware for some of the world’s best-known consumer electronics brands, making sure everything reads naturally and works properly for users. We provide full training, so you don’t need previous localisation experience.

• €42,000 per annum, paid monthly for the 6-month contract

What you’ll do

• Test software, printed documents, help content and hardware for language, cultural and functional issues
• Log clear, useful bug reports in our internal tools and follow each issue through to resolution
• Analyse international functionality problems, such as date formats, text truncation and character handling
• Work with QA centres, engineers, translators and project managers around the world
• Depending on experience, help design test plans and automate tests (Swift, Objective-C, Python or Ruby)

You’ll be a great fit if you

• Have native-level fluency in the language required and a strong understanding of its linguistics
• Have sharp attention to detail and enjoy breaking software to make it better
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team
• Stay organised across multiple projects and deadlines
• Have experience in software localisation or internationalisation (a plus)

About the role
6-month contract with possible extension. Fully onsite, 5 days a week, in Cork.
