LINK Go BA Client Implementation D&A - Consultant

We are looking for a business analyst who will work as part of the product development team to execute tasks which can affect more than one office, department, or client. In addition to helping in process improvements, the BA will be working primarily on analysis in the areas of the GMS practice to determine its objectives and how it operates within the information technology framework. The suitable candidate will need to build their knowledge to integrate across the diverse functional processes and accountabilities of the GMS technology tools with a focus of working on the GMS application

following

• Analysing the new requirements from our clients and translating into functional specifications for the product developers
• Reviewing the acceptance tests associated with the acceptance criteria - Evolving the details of the user stories through conversations with the developers
• Functional review of the product after each iteration
• Attending iteration retrospectives to provide feedback and improve the development process
• Becomes very familiar with the products and applications comprising the assigned line of business’ technology landscape.
• Supports business requirements and design (including mock-ups), assists in developing test plans, creation and maintenance of configuration documentation, operational procedures and guidelines, identifying and documenting issues, recommending resolutions.
• Takes confirmed Business Requirements and configures software application (workflows and emails) using JSON format
• Collaborates with team members to create detailed functional and/or technical specifications.
• Uses development specifications to establish traceability from requirements to test cases.
• Ensures Customer satisfaction through promptness in responding to calls, emails for assistance, queries.
• Establishes effective working relationships within the project team
• Timely and effectively communication within project to manage risk and escalations.
• He/she is also a business professional who fully understands both business and information technology.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Power BI

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Build efficient data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) for analytics.

• Create DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs for business reporting.

• Implement row-level security (RLS), data validation, and access control.

• Optimize report performance (query folding, data reduction, column optimization).

• Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL, Excel, APIs, SharePoint, and cloud data stores.

• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into BI solutions.

• Schedule and manage Power BI data refreshes, gateways, and workspace configurations.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Maths, Computer Science or I.T. Related degree

• 3-7 years of business systems analysis or relevant experience

• Strong organizational skills, autonomous, self-motivated, curious and open-minded.

• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and corresponding concepts related to user stories, acceptance criteria.

• Technical, analytical, and development skills including the ability to provide solutions to a variety of business problems of moderate scope and complexity.
