Linux Administrator (4-6)

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux server infrastructure in enterprise production environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Linux servers.
• Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, and Linux environments.
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security.
• Perform backup and recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot Linux OS and application issues.
• Manage services, storage, file systems, and networking.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation.
• Support production incidents and change activities.
• Maintain server documentation and SOPs.

Preferred Candidate :

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Linux Administration.
• Strong experience in RHEL/CentOS/Linux Server Administration.
• Hands-on experience in Linux Server Installation, Configuration, Patching, and Upgrade Activities.
• Good knowledge of Shell Scripting for automation and operational support.
• Experience in User Management, Group Management, File System, Storage, and Permission Management.
• Strong experience in Linux Troubleshooting, Performance Monitoring, and Server Health Checks.
• Experience in managing Production Environments and providing L2/L3 Production Support.
• Good understanding of Backup & Recovery, Incident Management, and Change Management processes.
• Experience with VMware, Virtualization Platforms, and Server Monitoring Tools is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• BE / BTech / MCA / MTech / MSc preferred.
