Linux Administrator

Role Purpose

1. Core Linux Expertise (10+ years expected)

Look for strong, hands‑on capability in:

• Deep understanding of Linux internals (process management, memory, storage, kernel concepts).
• Expertise in system configuration & hardening across RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/SUSE.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing filesystems, LVM, RAID, networking, boot loaders .
• Capability to design and manage secure, scalable Linux environments .

2. Ansible Expertise (5+ years expected)

Candidate should be strong in:

• Writing modular, reusable playbooks and role-based structures .
• Deep understanding of YAML , Jinja2 templating , and inventory management .
• Creating custom Ansible modules , filters, or plugins (optional but strong plus).
• Managing large-scale automation of:
• configurations
• patching
• deployments
• infra provisioning
