Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator with around 3 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support Linux-based infrastructure in production environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Perform OS updates, patching, and security hardening.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related issues.
• Configure and manage Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, SSH, and Java services.
• Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Perform log monitoring and analysis using syslog and journald.
• Support automation using Bash/Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Network, and Security teams.
• Maintain system configuration and operational documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux OS – RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
• Good understanding of file systems, permissions, processes, and system administration.
• Experience with YUM, DNF, and APT package management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of security best practices and firewall configuration.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
• Basic exposure to AWS/Azure is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware/KVM virtualization.
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work in 247 rotational shifts.
