Linux IT Administrator (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance and optimisation of our Linux server environment, with a clear focus on Ubuntu Server and clients
• Overseeing the orchestration of patch management and deployment
• Conception, expansion and maintenance of our system-wide monitoring to identify bottlenecks and errors before they occur
• Optimisation of recurring tasks through scripting (e.g. Bash or Python) or configuration management tools
• Analysis of system messages, resolving malfunctions at first-level support and ensuring high system availabilit

Your Profile

• Completed IT training: (e.g. IT specialist for system integration), a comparable degree or relevant professional experience
• Linux expertise: In-depth administrative knowledge of Linux distributions, particularly Ubuntu (Debian derivatives)
• Practical experience in automated lifecycle and patch management
• Monitoring-know-how
• A structured, analytical approach to work and a willingness to take responsibility for critical systems
• Good written and spoken German and Englis
