Linux System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Linux Administration experience to manage and support production, development, and infrastructure environments.

The candidate should have strong expertise in RHEL/Linux administration, Shell scripting, system monitoring, patching, security, troubleshooting, and production support. Experience with MySQL administration, Prometheus, Grafana, rsync/lsyncd, and Disaster Recovery activities will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support RHEL/Linux production, development, and infrastructure servers.
• Monitor Linux infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring system health, availability, and proactive issue detection.
• Perform Linux OS installation, configuration, patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Conduct configuration audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain security and compliance.
• Manage Linux users, groups, access controls, file permissions, and system security.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate system administration, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical Linux/system-level production incidents.
• Install and configure applications and utilities using RPM packages.
• Configure and manage file synchronization and replication using rsync and lsyncd.
• Perform backup, restoration, and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
• Support high-availability and operational stability of infrastructure environments.
• Work closely with Application, Database, Network, and Security teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve system issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding technical issues, impact, and resolutions.
• Provide critical production support and participate in incident/problem management activities.
